Spring Forecast

It’s never too early to think of spring fashion!  While the weather is getting cooler, the fashion industry is already planning for the days the forecast warms up again.  This Spring ’18, soft colors, romantic florals, and ballet-influenced skirts and shoes make their way across center stage, while other redefined classics also vie for attention.  Think deconstructed blazers and trenches, ankle pants, fashion sweatshirts, anything shiny, revamped gingham, and a return to rigid denim.  Denim also retains its popularity in the bold new Americana mood, as well as in its role as a canvas to embroidering and embellishment.  On the other side of spring pant trends, the work pant is getting a makeover, and print bottoms are having a moment.  To complete your trendy spring look, pick all-out crazy shoes: embellished, furry, feminine, ankle, chunk heel–anything detailed and fun.  As far as dresses, any tiered, flounced, knotted, or wrapped dresses will get you through all the spring parties/graduations/weddings you need to attend.  And, when in doubt, spice up your spring wardrobe by mixing prints and patterns, and highlighting your best pink, yellow, or lilac pieces.
